Channels

A channel is where a page lands. The dashboard at runitby.you is always on — every request shows up there with no setup. Telegram and Discord add your phone. Link either or both; a page goes to all of them at once, and the first answer from any of them wins.

All linking starts on the dashboard: open runitby.you and go to Channels. Each link uses a one-time code — single-use, short-lived, with a visible countdown. If a code dies before you use it, generate a fresh one.

Telegram

1. On the Channels page, tap Link Telegram. You get a one-time code and an Open Telegram button.
2. Tap Open Telegram. It opens a chat with @runitbybot and the code rides along in the /start deep link — the bot consumes it and confirms the link automatically. No typing, no pasting.
3. Pages now arrive as messages from @runitbybot with inline answer buttons. Reply with free text to answer in your own words; the agent gets it verbatim.

Linking works only in a private chat with the bot, not in a group. Linking again later rebinds: the new chat replaces the old one.

The bot answers three commands: /start (link, or greet if already linked), /help, and /status (your link state and pending pages).

Discord

Riby is a Discord user app: it installs to your account, not to a server. There is no server to join, and pages arrive as DMs.

1. On the Channels page, tap Link Discord. You get a one-time code.
2. Install the Riby app to your Discord account: add Riby to Discord — choose Add to my apps.
3. Run the /link slash command with the code:

The bot confirms, and pages land in your DMs with answer buttons from then on.

The code goes through the slash command, never a plain message — the bot does not read messages. It runs without the message-content intent entirely; buttons and slash commands are its whole vocabulary. Sending the code as a normal DM does nothing.

Slash commands: /link <code>, /status, /help, and /unlink.

First answer wins

One page, many channels, one answer. Resolution is atomic on the server: a Telegram tap and a dashboard click cannot double-resolve a request. Every other copy of the message updates in place to show who answered, where, and when — "Approved via Telegram · 14:32". A channel is never out of date about a request it delivered.

Unlinking

Unlink from the dashboard's Channels page (Discord also has /unlink). Effects, immediately:

• Pages stop delivering to that channel.
• Any outstanding link codes for it are invalidated.
• The dashboard keeps receiving every page — unlinking a phone channel never orphans a request.

Relink anytime with a fresh code.

Expiry is deny

A page nobody answers expires to deny — 6 hours by default, adjustable from 1 to 24 in dashboard settings. The agent gets a real refusal, not silence, no matter which channels were linked. If pages routinely expire before you see them, that is a hint to link a channel that buzzes in your pocket.

What the bots know about you

Riby stores a masked reference to your chat identity, not the raw id — only the last few characters are kept, for recognition on the dashboard.
